India may no longer recognise Rs 1,000 asa legitimate currency note but Reliance seems not to care. After making sure that anyone and everyone could get free (but pretty crap) 4G data till the end of the year, the Mukesh Ambani-led company is all set to launch a 4G VoLTE ready phone, that costs no more than Rs 1,000.The report states that there will be two feature phones, priced at around Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,500. Reliance is likely to launch these phones in the first quarter of 2017.
Apart from that, there have been multiple instances of Lyf smartphones catching fire orexploding. But with this Rs 1,000 4GVoLTE ready feature phone, Reliance will change the game for phone brands acrossthe country.
